Q: Is it safe?
A: Yes. Peroxide-based teeth whitening has been employed by dentists for over two decades, and over-the-counter products such as Crest WhiteStrips are used by millions of people worldwide. Some of these systems cause more sensitivity than others, such as toothaches and gum irritation, but all side effects are
temporary. We don't recommend the Perfect Ten process for anyone under 15 years of age or pregnant or lactating women.
Q: How long before I can eat or drink after my session
A: The first 24 hours we would recommend to avoid coffee, tea, dark colored sodas, red wines, berries, candy, red sauces, beets, or any foods that have the propensity to stain. Remember if it leaves a t-shirt stained it will stain your teeth.
Q: Will Perfect Ten work for me?
A: Almost all natural teeth will respond to the bleaching process Teeth whitening is a dynamic process and individual results will always vary. However, you will notice your teeth will continue to whiten several days after the first application.
Q: I have caps on my front teeth, will the Perfect Ten system work on them?
A: Caps, crowns, and composites such as bonding do not whiten at the same rate as natural teeth, if at all. Many people have unnaturally white caps and crowns, so the goal is to bring your natural teeth closer to the color of your caps or crowns. As always, if you have detailed questions about your dental work, consult with your dentist.
Q: How is this different from BriteSmile and Zoom?
A: The Perfect Ten process only shares a couple of simularities with BriteSmile and Zoom. 1. Hydrogen Peroxide and 2. A Whitening Light. Perfect Ten Smile utilizes a much newer technology than these and most other dental systems. Differences including percentage/type of Hydrogen Peroxide and the use of a cold Halogen filtered light VS. a hot Metal halide or Plasma light. Our system eliminates almost all issues with teeth sensitivity (we rarely have clients that experience sensitivity), and most importantly, price (we are hundreds less).
Q: Does Perfect Ten whitening case sensitivity?
A: In most cases, no. Our specially formulated peroxide gel is on your teeth for only 40 minutes at a time, Less than 2% of our customers experience any discomfort.
